Parts of the boards of a different volume are mounted to the boards. Rubbed with several scratch marks on the boards. Splits of approximately 2-3 cm in the outer front joints. Inner front hinge is a bit weak. Ink stain, approximately 3x4 cm, on the top edge. Front end-paper is missing. The lower margin of the back end-paper is cut, and the back end-paper has a tear of 2 cm. Minor loss of paper (5x5 mm) in the top margin of the frontispiece and the lower margin of the last page. Tear of 1 cm in the outer margin of page 119. Owner’s signature on the front paste-down. Slight browning to the paper. Occasional brown stains, otherwise contents are clean and in good condition. First edition.
